On the fly - new print work by L.E. Tanttu

L. E. Tanttu show On the fly at manos

The fabrics shown in the exhibition On the fly are naturally dyed and screenprinted by hand to form unique pieces of wall art. The motif this time is birds.

L. E. Tanttu have for many years created and printed posters by hand in their Jollygoodfellow Printing Studio. Now they complement with textiles for the wall. ”We have long thought about textiles in interior design, they have a great ability to so en and to dampen sound. In our home we like to have as much light as possible, so we skip curtains, instead we choose to hang the fabric on the wall. ”

When: 9–16 Feb 2019, Opening on Saturday 9 Feb 14.00–16.00 Where: Manos, Renstiernas gata 22, SOFO, Stockholm
