Courses
The ceramics courses at manos are for those who want to get to know the clay and the techniques. All levels of prior clay knowledge are welcome.
Karin Eriksson and Nilla Hellzén hold inspiring and creative courses in their ceramics workshop next to the manos shop. We strive to have good tools, several clays and fine glazes. The groups are small and you get individual help and work based on your own conditions and interests.
Karin has held courses under her own auspices for many years and is a trained ceramic designer at Central St Martins University of Art and Design in London. Nilla took a different path to clay: after many years as a sociologist, she took a pottery course with several different potters, the great love for clay then developed into a multi-year apprenticeship with Karin at manos. As a course participant at manos, you not only get two teachers but also access to the different skills of both.

General information about the courses
REGISTRATION
Email karin@manos.se with information about which course you want to take, your name and mobile number. When you receive a confirmation email from us, you are registered.
Possible places for the next round of semester courses and weekend courses will be released in mid-June 2024. Those who are already taking a course have priority for the next one. This means that there are not always free places on the semester courses. If you are interested in attending a course at manos, you can contact karin@manos.se. then we will add you to our interest list. You will then receive emails about planned courses and available places. Everyone on the interest list has the opportunity to accept a place that becomes available.
CANCELLATION RULES
Right of withdrawal
You have the opportunity to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you received confirmation of your course place with us. After that, your course registration is binding. If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us before the withdrawal period expires. This is done in writing to karin@manos.se
Cancellation after the cooling-off period
If you choose to cancel your course after the 14-day cancellation period, we will charge a cancellation fee of SEK 500. The latest date to cancel to receive the remaining course fee is 21 days before the start of the course. In case of cancellation after that, we will try together to find someone who can take your place. If this is not possible, neither the course fee nor the cancellation fee will be refunded.
If there are special reasons, for example if you cancel due to illness or similar (supported by a medical certificate), contact us and we will find a solution that will be good for everyone.
